It has been quite sometime I didnt write new post for this blog. This is due to my own laziness, and also I was busy helping my sister to take care of her children. Well since she already quit her job, I am available again to write. There are lots of inquiries I receive from my friends actually to know what is my condition. For them I want to say sorry and sorry.

Fjällgatan is a famous street in Stockholm because of it's own uniqueness. You shouldn't miss to walk on this street if you're in Stockholm because you will feel it's different. Don't forget to look around the building because you can see the unique and vibrant colours. You can see Gamla Stan from the east of this street. I spend my weekend time to walk along this street with my family and just breathed in fresh winter air. This is good not only it can relax my mind but also for my health because walking is the best exercise.

Happy New Year!!! You never know how hard for me to update this blog. Sometimes I just don't know what to write. You know living in this knowledge era, I feel everything that I want to share is already being shared by other people. The funny thing is, sometime I have so many ideas to write, then these enormous numbers of ideas overwhelm me until I stop to write. However all the comments really made my day and the only reason that will keep me writing. Thanks folk.

Happy New Year. As you can see Stockholm was glittering and clammering by the fireworks when we celebrated Year 2008. My wish for this year is all my good dreams will come true. I hope it's the same to the rest of you.

Gamla stan

Many travelling internet sites consider this place as the best tourist attraction in Sweden. I partly agree with this statement, because to say that it's the best is pretty much dependent on your interest. If your interest is in visiting historical places, yes, you can consider that this place as one of the best in the world. Gamla stan is actually a very very old town neighbourhood in Stockholm. Many of the buildings were built during 13th century. Who knows maybe your great great grandfather used to having his cup of coffee here. The best time to visit this place is during summer.

Skating during winter

I was thinking what is another fun activities during winter apart from skiing and sleeping. Suddenly this idea came after my long sleep last night, well why don't we try to skate? Yes this is equally fun like skiing, but you only require less gear. The most popular spot for skating in Stockholm are Kungsträdgården. But for foreigners who aren't familiar with skating, I've to warn you this, start slowly. Don't try to compete with the Stockholm folks, even with the kids because you might experience your painful experience, I mean by falling down.

This is something like an opera house which is located at Drottningholm Palace. This place can be crowded during summer due to the many festivals being held. Surely a place not to be missed when you visit Drottningholm Palace. It was built in year 1766 and until now it's still nicely maintained.

The Drottningholm Palace is the private residence of the Swedish royal family. You can go there by taking a boat from Stockholm city during summer. The ride is quite lovely and romantic.

No, this is far more beautiful than laser show that normally you see during fun fair. This is what the famous "Northern Light" is all about. The picture only describes 5% of the feeling when do you see it live. It's relaxing, calming and stunning to see the light dances in the sky.
For those who are serious to catch this, you should come to sweden between September and October or March to April. This is a thing not to be missed if you are in Sweden during winter.

I got this news from this link. I think it's outrageous, and although I consider myself as liberal, but I don't think I'm that liberal.

SWEDISH women have launched a campaign to fight for the right to go topless on beaches and in swimming pools, saying they have just as much right to go without clothes as men.
Scandinavian feminists were outraged when two women were asked to cover up their breasts by a lifeguard at a public pool near Stockholm, the Daily Mail's Metro.co.uk website reported.
"If women are forced to wear a top, shouldn't men also have to?" said one of the women, 22-year-old Ragnhild Karlsson.
Now women in southern Sweden have set up the Bara Bradiost network, which translates as Just Breasts.
"We want our breasts to be as normal and desexualised as men's, so that we too can pull off our shirts at football matches," said a spokeswoman for the group.
The campaign's strategy has reportedly been a raging success, with members of Just Breasts jumping into swimming pools across the country wearing nothing more than bikini bottoms.
The country's equal opportunities ombudsman will decide whether or not to take up the case on behalf of the women later this month.

This picture was taken on my way out to watch movie at Kista (pronounced as Shees-ta) Galleria. Yes, it's freezing cold out there. I hardly woke up this morning, but a ring from Anna really helped. A cup of coffee and facial wash make me fresh and ready to go.

While this was taken in the pedestrian bridge that connects the Kista subway station to the Kista Galleria. A Filmstaden is a movie theater with multiple movies.

Today is friday

..and it means a happy day for me. I don't know why I really love Friday. Is it because this is a last day I've to work in a week? Well this is most likely. I can see that I'm not the only one in this office who enjoy when Friday comes.
I notice my colleagues, my client and even my grumpy boss; they're all in good mood.
So man out there who's going to propose,do it on friday becasue I'm sure it's hard for her to reject.

My new niece

Yes, she's cute. Her name is Anna Anderson, and actually she's the third niece that I have. I think she really likes me well, because comparing with the other two nieces that I have, she doesn't cry when sitting on my lap.
This really surprises my parents because to get babies who can sit and play with me in a long period is rare. Well Anna, you really made my day and I hope our chemistry will continue.

I always wanted to have my own blog to express my feeling or opinion about something, but had been put off several times just because I don't have my own laptop. Now, since I have my own brand new laptop I've no other excuse why not started my own blog.
